"A seller client of mine recently decided to refinish his hardwood floors using linseed oil.  He left the soaked rags in a 5-gallon bucket and that evening, they began to spontaneously combust.  Luckily for this seller, the fire was contained within the bucket and the result was only smoke damage to the home.  DIY-ers beware, some folks have not been so lucky."
